PCK stands for Pakistani Chitral Kush which is a pure indica cannabis strain originating from Chitral in the Pakistani Hindu Kush mountain region, part of the Himalayan ranges. This fine example has been cared for and bred in the Iberian peninsula since the mid-1990s by Cannabiogen. PCK is a very resinous plant which displays delightful purple and red colours near maturity. Unlike many current Afghani hybrid strains this strain has the almost unique quality of ripening under quite cold and wet conditions that are typical in northern Europe in the early autumn without succumbing to mould as far north as 50º of latitude from the equator. One phenotype is very colourful whilst the second one tends to remain quite green. Both, however, adapt themselves to a range of environments, are pretty fast flowering and deliver good amounts of potent resin. It is a sweet-smelling plant with an array of delicious aromas which include caramel, strawberry and blackberry chewing gum.
