Heavyweight Seeds crossed Lemon Skunk with Cheese to produce Lemon Cake. This is a predominantly sativa strain that is very vigorous in growth. In 9 - 10 weeks of flowering high yields of excellent quality marijuana is produced with THC levels of 23% and 0.3% CBD. It stretches quite a lot during this stage and therefore it is recommended to only veg. for a coupe of weeks otherwise plants can become somewhat unwieldy.
Indoors plants will reach a height of between 90 - 140 cm. yielding 600 - 700 gr/m2 of quality dried buds. Outdoors plants grow somewhat taller as is to be expected reaching 120 - 180 cm. tall and with yields of up to 800 gr/plant.
The buds are long and dense and will almost certainly require support during the last 3 or 4 weeks prior to harvest. Not only is it a good commercial strain, such are its yields, but it is also very useful as a medical marijuana strain that is particularly helpful to treat stress, loss of appetite and to alleviate the after-effects of chemotherapy.
