Kaia Kush won 1st. prize in the 2007 High Times Cannabis Cup. It is a 70% indica marijuana strain with high THC production. It is a cross of Super Silver haze and OG Kush.
Kaia Kush does well both indoors and outdoors. If grown indoors it will really benefit from using either SoG or SCRoG to increase its yield potential which is 800 gr/m2 in an 8 week flowering period. When grown outdoors it develops into a medium-sized plant with great density - it's possible that some leaf removal may be necessary to allow light penetration to the inner-most bud sites. In this environment it will be ready to harvest during the first week of October in the northern hemisphere where it can deliver up to 1000 gr/plant.
THC production is high and has been measured in lab. tests at 19.8%. CBD levels are low at 0.38% with 0.26% CBN. Kaia Kush has a very relaxing yet creative effect that is something of a creeper but which is enduring. It is recommended medicinally for use in pain control therapy.
