Kabul Express is a "fast" version of an old, original Afghani plant from seeds that were brought to Russia from Afghanistan in 1989. Seven twenty year old seeds were found and all of them germinated. From these seven seeds this "fast" pheno-type was isolated and inbred with a secret hybrid strain which forms 10% of this strain's genetics.
Kabul Express is a hardy, 85% indica strain with fast flowering times of between 48 - 55 days. Plants remain very squat at around 100 cm. perhaps a little bit more. Yields are good; indoors between 500 - 600 gr/m2 while outdoor grown plants can yield between 900 - 1300 gr/plant. Buds are conical-shaped, dark green and exude the aroma of old-skool Afghani hash towards the end of flowering.
The flavour is sweet and fruity and the effect from its 22% THC is very strong. This is a great strain to help with the problem of insomnia.
