Gypsy Widow is an inbred cross of two White Widow phenotypes. One is more indica-like with a shorter flowering period and dense buds; the other is a more sativa expression of this 1990s Dutch Coffeeshop queen which produces more resin over a longer flowering period. The resulting Gypsy Widow has a vegetative stage that is very indica but when the photo-period kicks in long, dense buds are formed which become heavier and heavier until a point is reached where they must be supported with canes or nets lest the stems snap. Yields are good at between 500 gr and 550 gr/m2 indoors. The total flowering time is a very respectable 8 - 9 weeks. The aroma of Gypsy Widow encompasses citrus tones, predominantly that of fresh lemons with some incense character. The effect is very powerful; both physically and cerebrally so and evolves into a feeling of relaxation that is recommended for its medical uses.
