Gorilla Glue #4 is an incredibly potent cannabis strain that had a serendipitous beginning by virtue of an accidental pollination. Gorilla Glue's genetic constituent parts are derived from Chem Sis, Chocolate Diesel and Sour Dubb marijuana plants and is 75% sativa.
This strain can be grown indoors and outdoors. Indoors growers should be able to harvest about 400 gr/m2 in a 58 - 63 day flowering period. When cultivated outdoors each plant has the potential to produce as much as 700 gr. with northern hemisphere harvests taking place in late September. This is a comparatively early outdoor maturation which means that the zone of cultivatability is quite broad encompassing those areas where the local weather conditions remain good until at least this date.
Vegetative growth is extremely vigorous and, as a result of its accidental beginnings, it is prone to turn hermaphrodite and so it is recommended to keep a close watch on it during flowering to remove any male pollen sacs that risk pollinating the female flowers. Buds are very fat and dense and are literally stuffed with trichomes exuding resin. This strain isn't called "Glue" for nothing as it will stick the blades of manicuring scissors together such is the amount of resin produced.
Gorilla Glue #4 has an aroma that is distinctly of pine and a flavour of chocolate and Diesel/fuel. With THC production up around 24% it is an incredibly potent plant; physically relaxing it is a great medicinal strain and has applications for the relief of pain, anxiety and insomnia.
