Cookies Haze is a sativa-dominant strain that was bred by crossing an Afghani mother with a Super Silver Haze. It sports long, slender, typically sativa leaves with long inter-nodal lengths. Vigorous, pest-resistant and very high in THC this cannabis strain will put you in a very happy frame of mind.
Cookies Haze can easily grow into a tall plant with a pine-tree structure; if growing indoors it is recommended to switch to 12/12 flowering period sooner than with most plants in order to restrict its indoor height to about a metre. Outdoors plants can reach a height of up to 300 cm. or more if planted directly in the ground. Despite its sativa-dominance flowering is relatively fast with 56 - 60 days usually sufficient to produce excellent yields of between 550 - 600 gr/m2. Outdoor cultivators should manage to crop as much as 800 gr/plant with northern hemisphere harvests taking place in early October.
This is an easy to grow strain with first-class resistance to red spider-mite amongst other pests. Growers will need to keep a check on humidity levels as the large, dense buds can be susceptible to botrytis when there is a lot of moisture in the atmosphere. The perfume and taste is sweet and fruity with some acidity, it has been compared with kids' Gummi Bears sweets. THC production can be as high as 25% and the effect is cerebral and euphoric but without the "trippy" sensation. Cookies Haze will impart a pleasantly happy feeling that may suit creative types.
