Congo x Kali China is an F1 cannabis hybrid strain that is a cross bewteen a pure Congolese sativa plant and Ace Seeds' own specially selected Kali China F4. The result is a plant that is 70% sativa with a flowering period between 10 - 12 weeks. It has a fairly typical sativa structure viz. a Christmas tree-like appearance with strong side-branching with quite compact inter-nodal spacing. It also possesses a very old-skool sativa aroma with notes of lemon, mint and incense.
Congo x Kali China grows well both indoors as well as outdoors as high as 45° beyond which the growing season becomes too short for effective maturation as it will not be ready until at least mid-October in the northern hemisphere. Yields are above average and can be high. THC production is high at between 15 - 18% with CBD levels at less than 1% as is to be expected from such a sativa-dominant strain.
The more open structure of the flowering buds means that Congo x Kali China has pretty good resistance to grey mould (botrytis). Overall the effect of this limited edition strain is markedly sativa with almost crazy, cerebral effects that are quite powerful. A cannabis strain for the adventurous.
