Bubblegum XL is a cross of Power Plant and Santa Maria, a poly-hybrid strain from Brazil. Although not as devastating as some stains it nevertheless produces high levels of THC and very good yields. It is 60% sativa and 40% indica.
Bubblegum XL grows to be quite a large plant;indoors its height will be in the range 80 - 140 cm. yielding 450 - 500 gr/m2 in a maximum of 9 weeks flowering. Outdoor-grown plants will be bigger, between 160 - 200 cm. if planted directly in the ground or, at the very least a large pot, producing 400 - 450 gr/plant of dried buds for harvest during the month of October in northern latitudes. It will grow successfully on the European mainland with the proviso that regular checks should be kept of the dense buds as damp, wet conditions can lead to mould infestations which can rot the buds. Regions with a guaranteed dry and sunny late summer/early autumn remain the safer bet for cultivation in the open air.
The aroma and flavour of Bubblegum XL is sweet and earthy with some pink bubblegum character. Its 19% THC and medium CBD levels provide a very nice, relaxing high with an uplifting feeling.
