Big Bang is a 70% indica cannabis strain that was bred by crossing Skunk, Northern Light and El Niño. It is a recognised medicinal variety that is available on prescription from Dutch pharmacies.
Big Bang is a hardy and vigorous marijuana plant that can be grown indoors and outdoors. Indoors yields will benefit from the adoption of ScroG (Screen of Green) to train the plants and give all bud sites maximum exposure to light. Although plants will be ready to harvest in 8 weeks of flowering with yields of up to 800 gr/m2 if left for another week the full range of medicinal cannabinoids will develop fully. Outdoors, planted in the ground, Big Bang is a very bushy plant that grows wider than it does tall. It can produce up to 1 kilo per plant with harvests in the northern hemisphere ready by the end of September.
THC levels have been lab-tested at 19.8% with 0.12% CBD and 0.28% CBN. The effect of Big Bang is calming and relaxing. It is recommended therapeutically for pain relief as well as appetite stimulation.
